Pep Vault ("the app") is a private, on-device journal for tracking a personal peptide routine. This policy explains what data the app handles and what leaves your device. In short: your health and dosing data never leaves your phone.
Everything you enter — peptides, doses, injection sites, cycles, feel/mood check-ins, baseline metrics, notes, and reminders — is stored locally on your device in an encrypted database. There is no account, no login, and no cloud sync. We never receive, see, transmit, or store this information on any server. If you delete the app, this data is gone.
The app can be locked with Face ID / Touch ID and a PIN, and its database is encrypted at rest using the operating system's data protection. Your PIN and recovery code are stored in the device keychain in hashed form.
The only information that ever leaves your device is anonymous, and only for these two purposes:
